Survivor Love Letter is a movement where survivors and allies create letters of support for people who have experienced power-based interpersonal violence. These messages serve as a way to express solidarity, compassion, and healing. Survivor Love Letter was started in 2012 by activist, filmmaker, and survivor Tani Ikeda.

Since 2022, the SHARE Team has hosted Survivor Love Letter events in April as a consent-based way to be in community during Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

On May 1, 2026 from 1pm-6pm, the SHARE Team will host a Survivor Love Letter Gallery to view the letters of healing and support that were created during at 18 different Survivor Love Letter events during Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Many Harvard community members have given consent to display their incredible and powerful art. Letters include themes of interpersonal violence, trauma, and transformation.

Light refreshments will be served. The SHARE office is located in Suite 624 in the Smith Campus Center.

Your voice is welcome here.
