###    1. What is addressed in this eLearning module?  expand\_more  

At Harvard, we have a collective responsibility to create an environment that is open, welcoming, and free from discrimination, including sexual harassment and sexual misconduct, and bullying. This eLearning module, “Creating a Community Free of Discrimination, Bullying, and Sexual Harassment,” is designed to inform you about the University's policies addressing discrimination, bullying, sexual harassment, and other sexual misconduct, as well as supportive resources and how each of us can play a role in preventing harm in our community.

You must complete this required eLearning module within 60 days of its assignment.

The module is one essential part of our collective endeavor to create and sustain a community that is free from discrimination, interpersonal violence, and the impacts of such harm.

 

 



###    2. How long is the eLearning module?  expand\_more  

The module takes approximately 55 minutes to complete.

 

 



###    3. Who is expected to complete this eLearning module?  expand\_more  

Consistent with the University’s commitment to harm prevention and legal obligations, this module is required for all staff, faculty, and post-doctoral fellows.

 

 



###    4. I took a similar online module previously at Harvard. Do I have to take it again?  expand\_more  

Yes. This annual assignment contains content specific to the roles of Harvard staff, faculty, and post-doctoral fellows and contains updates related to the University policies and resources. However, if you are also a Harvard student or are otherwise enrolled in an academic course at Harvard and you have completed the student version of this module, which was assigned on August 11, 2026, you will already have satisfied this training requirement.

 

 



###    5. What if I have already taken a similar online module at another affiliated institution?  expand\_more  

This module contains content specific to your role as a Harvard staff member, faculty member, or post-doctoral fellow and contains important updates related to the University's policies and resources pursuant to non-discrimination and anti-bullying at Harvard. Therefore, training you may have received at another affiliated institution does not satisfy the requirement for completing this module.

 

 



###    6. I am currently on leave and cannot take the eLearning module right now. What are my options?  expand\_more  

Please email the Prevention Team within the Office for Community Support, Non-Discrimination, Rights and Responsibilities (CSNDR) at [csndr\_prevention@harvard.edu](mailto:csndr_prevention@harvard.edu).

 

 



###    7. Can I take this eLearning module in a language other than English?  expand\_more  

Currently, this eLearning module is available only in English; however, you may send a request with your preferred language to [csndr\_prevention@harvard.edu](mailto:csndr_prevention@harvard.edu) and a staff member will contact you to explore alternative options.

 

 



###    8. How do I access the eLearning module?  expand\_more  

You will receive an email from the Harvard Training Portal in early September 2026 notifying you that this eLearning module has been added to your learning plan. Included in this email will be a link to the eLearning module. You will need to log in to the Harvard Training Portal with your HarvardKey to access and complete the module.

 

 



###    9. What if I am unable to access a computer to take the eLearning module?  expand\_more  

Please email [csndr\_prevention@harvard.edu](mailto:csndr_prevention@harvard.edu) and a staff member will arrange a time and place for you to complete the module.

 

 



###    10. I am getting a message that says I need a HarvardKey to complete the eLearning module. How do I get a HarvardKey?  expand\_more  

If you need a HarvardKey, you may claim your Key and find technical support for claiming your Key at: [key.harvard.edu](https://key.harvard.edu/).

 

 



###    11. I am having difficulty accessing the eLearning module from my mobile device.  expand\_more  

The eLearning module is designed to be completed on a desktop or laptop computer. If you are unable to access a computer, please email [csndr\_prevention@harvard.edu](mailto:csndr_prevention@harvard.edu) and a staff member will arrange a time and place for you to complete the module.

 

 



###    12. I have completed the eLearning module, but I am getting automated reminders telling me that I have not completed the module.  expand\_more  

Please consult the Troubleshooting Guide located within the module homepage on the Harvard Training Portal and follow the enclosed instructions. If you continue to encounter reminders about completing the module after following these steps, please email [csndr\_prevention@harvard.edu](mailto:csndr_prevention@harvard.edu) and a staff member will arrange support.
